I have a Master's Degree in Business Administration of the Keller Graduate School of Management. I have 18 graduate hours in Accounting. I concentrated on Business Accounting. I have a Master's in Math Education from Cambridge College. I have over 21 graduate hours in the Math. I learned how to use differentiated learning for students of different abilities. I concentrated on how to use various techniques to serve the needs of various students in a classroom.
Experience
I have taught the following courses at the college level: Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Tax Accounting, Payroll Accounting and Personal Finance. I have also taught Pre-Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra and Elementary Statistics. I use variety of techniques to get my point across to students. This includes doing problems, lecturing, songs and cartoons. As much as enjoy teaching, I enjoy working with students one on one. Some students learn well in a setting that created just for them. They need the close interaction and the one on one attention to thrive. There is something about taking the time to work with a problem and seeing that student grasp the concept finally.

Hobbies
I love creating cartoons. I make up stories with morals or lessons and bring to life in characters. I am learning American Sign Language as well. It is a beautiful language filled with passion. I find it exciting to learn a new idiom in Sign. They say so much. I have been practicing storytelling in Spanish and in Sign Language. The importance of placing the right word in the right place is so great. The whole aspect of the story can change with the tone of a voice or the visual marker of a sign.
